Perfect hard boiled eggs



Are you looking to make perfect hard boiled eggs this Easter? Well here is a super easy way to get great results.


Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan. Cover with 1 inch of water. Cover pot and bring to a boil. Remove the pan from heat as soon as boil is reached. Let the eggs stand, covered in the hot water about 15 minutes for large eggs (about 12 minutes for medium eggs and about 18 for extra large). Cool immediately in an ice-water bath.
My Mom and I are always trying to remember this every year so I thought I would post it for everyone and save time.


Tip: Put rubber bands around eggs to create a really neat design when dying your eggs. You can see the results in the picture above.
